In this Blog.
I will teach you "How to get streaming video"
The idea of stealing is actually get the stream video in your "Temporary" folder because the buffer video you watch is stored in that place.


For an example.
You like certain music clip in the youtube and you want it in your PC.
Of course there is a lot of way to get the clip by using application such as real player and youtube downloader.

But in this Blog, you will only use one application that is FREE and not related at all in term of media/download application which is "Unlocker"


What is unlocker?.
It is an application that allow you to delete on-run application. Like deleting certain file that cannot be delete because it is in used.


Condition to steal
1. The streaming video must be "Stream all". This means its buffer all the video, allowing you to replay or slide to any moment without buffering the video again. For an example, youtube.
( most of the sharing video website using this method )

2. It is assume the format for the video is .flv ( flash player ) since we don know the real format of the file. This means you need to know the format of the video that you want to steal
( most case is .flv, so don't need to worry much )

3. The video that you want to steal must be "complete". So if the video you choose is only half progress, then you only will get half. Therefore, wait the video to complete buffering and start stealing.


The step,
1. Download and Install the Unlocker
2. Find the "Temporary" folder
3. Find and locate the video
4. Retrieve the video

Step 1 - Download and Install the Unlocker
1.1 You can download this application easily such as www.download.com because it is FREE.
To make it easy, this is the link to Download the application :

1.2 After download, install it. I'm not gonna teach about this part.
1.3 And finally, run he Unlocker application.

p/s: Magic star shape wand will occur on the bottom right (toolbar) once its running

Step 2 - Find the "Temporary" folder
To find the temporary folder is depend on your current user.
2.1 Go to start->run.
2.2 Type "cmd".
2.3 Type "%username%. in the CMD


You will know your Username once you do this.
Once you know your username, you can easily find the Temporary folder

Temporary folder is located at ( in my PC )
G:\Documents and Settings\asip\Local Settings\Temp



Note:
G: = is where I install my Windows
Documents and Settings\ = Default folder for Window XP
asip\ = My username, known from typing %username%
Local Settings\ = Default folder for Window XP
Temp\ = Default folder for Window XP

Step 3 - Find the video and locate it
Once you find the Temporary folder, don't close it.
Find the video you like and start watching it.

P/S : Once the video start buffering, it will appear a new file with random name .tmp extension (most of the case is .tmp). This file will keep expending its size through the video keep buffering. Therefore, notice the file and remember it for further step.


Please wait until the video to complete its buffering since retrieve the incomplete file result in incomplete video

Step 4 - Retrieve the video
Once is finish buffering.
Right click on the located video and you will see the "Unlocker" menu and click it.



Then choose "Copy" at the dropdown menu.


Allocate the file and rename it anyname with .flv as its extension file name.

If u using Firefox, u can use "unplug" addon

Refill Canon ip1880 printer

I will show you How to Refill the printer.

p/s: note that its ip1800 but it still works with ip1880

Here is the step.
1. Have the Refilling ink
2. Take out the Cartridge
3. Make a 'Hole' at the Cartridge
4. Start refilling

The step detail

Step 1 : Have the Refilling ink

Here in my place on 2008 October.
The price for each color cost about RM6 and can have about 5 shot.
refill 5 times I means.
I buy Black, Red, Blue, Yellow color 6x4=24.


p/s: For black should be not a problem in color choosing.
But for Red, Blue and Yellow. There's a chance the color is different in the original one.

Step 2 : Take out the Cartridge

Dun ask me how to take out the Cartridge.
The Cartridge code should be CL831 & PG830 by default

Step 3 : Make a 'Hole' at the Cartridge

You may wander "How to make the hole" and "Where should I make the hole"

How to make the hole
1. Use any means necessary.
2. Lucky for me, the re-filler i buy already provide the puncher

Where should I make the hole

Follow the picture.
Take off the sticker carefully.
You will see some ready made hole to be made.

Step 4 : Start refilling

Refill it carefully, nothing particular...

Reminders

Don't ever touch the circled area

It's the important place of course.
One touch interrupt the circuit?

How much to refill?

Basically one bottle enough for 5 shot.
Its better to put less rather than full in the Cartridge since it might leak out or overflow.

One last note,
The printer does no measure the ink based n how much the ink left in the cartridge. But its count on how many time you use the printer.

This means,
1. It's not accurate
2. Once you refill, printer still telling you "Ink low"

Therefore, to solve this you need to reset the "ink counter" which is pressing the "Resume" button for 5 minutes.

Deleting access denied or password protected files

Well, I learn this tutorial from somewhere but don't remember the link

This technique is used to delete a password protected a.k.a access denied file using a CMD.exe

1. Click on Windows
2. Click Run
3. Type CMD
4. Leave the CMD there (don't close it I mean)
5. Press alt+ctrl+del (open the task manager)
6. Go to the "Processes" tab
7. "End process" for the "explorer.exe" (don't End Process Tree)
Note: After this step, you computer will become a bit funny, but the CMD should be remain there
8. Type something in the CMD.exe
9. Open the task manager again (press alt+ctrl+del)
10. Go to the "File" menu
11. Click on the "New Task (Run...)"
12. Type "explorer.exe" in the pop up thing after the step 11
Note: This is to disable the funny thing a.k.a restore the computer to default
13. Done!

Huh? "8. Type something in the CMD.exe"... LOL!
well, there it is

Step 8 details...

By using the CMD, go to the Path you want to delete... and delete it using the CMD
Finish!.

Lets make some case:
1. You install the Winzip in "C:\Program Files\Winzip".
2. Then you uninstall it (the uninstall is successful), but still leave the Winzip folder.
3. But then, you cannot delete the folder because of the one file inside it is protected

OK, the path is "C:\Program Files\Winzip".
to delete the folder ( not a file )
ensure the CMD path is "C:\Program Files>"
then type "rmdir Winzip"

p/s: If the delete is successful it should tell you nothing!
( not even a message like "hey yo, you delete teh Winzaip folder ya know." )

so just type "rmdir Winzip" again
and it will display "The system cannot find the file specified" means the folder is not exist a.k.a deleted!

To delete a file ( not a folder pls )

p/s: let say deleting folder "Winzip" is failed because there is a file called "You_Cannot_Delete_Me.exe" in the Folder.

so,
go to "C:\Program Files\Winzip>" in the CMD
then type "del You_Cannot_Delete_Me.exe".

Conclusion
1. Go to the Path using the CMD
2. Delete the file/folder
2.1 For folder is "rmdir"
2.2 For file is "del"

User&Group Permission

Right click folder -> Properties -> Security tab

This is where the User and Group permission located

If you modify this thing incorrectly
A lot of funny error might occur like

• Error 1772 Window Installer package
• Cannot open/delete/edit the folder ( Access denied )
• Ms-paint is running ( in task manager ) but not displaying

Above are all error I encounter while this User and Group setting is incorrect
And the folder was on my C:\WINDOWS

MANUAL WAY

To solve this,
Well... this is how I solve it

I fix it manually where I put again all my User&Group
The User&Group should be the same with the User&Group in the C:\Program Files

To add a Correct user
click the" advance" in the "security" tab


Using CMD to set up the ACL

type "cacls" for futher detail
but this is normal operation

make sure the path is in C:\>

then type exactly like this cacls WINDOWS /g "%usename%":F

well, the :F means "Full control"
the %username% is your username
